Juana is 9 years old and she lives in the Sololá region of rural Guatemala. She is in 3rd grade and has one brother and one sister. When she grows up, Juana wants to be a professional ballerina!
Juana’s father, Manuel, emigrated to the United States in order to send money to his family. He makes about $120USD per month to send home. Her mother, Maria, works to take care of the home and the children.
Juana only has to walk about 5 minutes to get to the education center “Raíces y Alas” where she receives her computer classes. Without your generous donation, she would not have had this opportunity which will help her to succeed in school, and in her life. Thank you!
