Norma wants to be a PE teacher!

Norma was born on October 4, 2001. She’s in third grade in the Sololá region of rural Guatemala. She dreams of becoming a physical education teacher when she grows up, as she has already realized the importance of physical activity in maintaining overall health and balance in life.

Norma’s father, Antonio, cultivates banana crops and coffee beans and earns about $50USD per month. Her mother, Manuela, takes care of the home and the children. They live a very simple life and would otherwise not be able to afford the computer literacy classes.

Norma lives only a four minute walk from the education center “Raíces y Alas” where she receives her computer classes. Thank you for giving Norma the gift of computer literacy to help her achieve her personal and educational goals!
