Martín wants to be a music teacher!
Martín was born on July 30, 2000. He’s in 5th grade at the primary school in Pasác, which is located in rural Guatemala. His biggest dream is to become a music teacher when he grows up.
Martín’s father, Martín Chox, is a day laborer that makes about $70USD per month to cover the basic needs of the whole family. Martín’s mother, Isabela, takes care of the home and the five children.
It takes Martín 10 minutes to talk to the school where he receives his tutoring classes. His older sister also receives the classes. His favorite book is “Lucía simple y sencilla,” and without your generous support, Martín would not be able to receive the extra help he needs to succeed in school. Thank you Tamara!
