Bernarda wants to be a school teacher!

Bernarda is 13 years old and her birthday is on October 20. She is in fourth grade and is from the Sololá region of Guatemala. Bernarda’s greatest dream is to become a primary school teacher. Her father, Esteban, is a laborer and makes about $65USD per month. Her mother, Pascuala, takes care of the home and the children.

Thanks to your donation, Bernarda takes computer classes at the school called, “Raíces y Alas,” which takes her 30 minutes to reach by foot from home. She is so thankful for your support, as being computer literate will surely aid in helping her achieve her dream to be a teacher.  Thank you!
