Julio is six years old and is in 1st grade in the Sololá region of Guatemala. His father, Francisco, is a local vendor who makes about $60 a month depending on business, which is barely enough to cover the basic costs of the family. His mother, Manuela, takes care of the children and the home, but has no income.
Julio dreams of becoming a volunteer firefighter when he grows up so that he can demonstrate his love of helping others. Without your donation of computer literacy training, Julio would not have access to this opportunity. His classes are only a 2 minute walk from his home, and Julio is very excited to learn about computers. Thank you for giving this opportunity to Julio and his family!
