Lucia Sees the Light of a Brighter Future

Lucia Margarita Lopez Tambriz
Dear Paris, Maria, Ellen, Evelyn, Gerry, Jeanne, Jeffrey, Drew, Lindsey, and Ted Wells,

Lucia is twelve years old and lives in Solola. She is currently in the sixth grade and has big dreams. When she grows up, she hopes to preserve native languages and teach them in her country. Her father passed away nine years ago, and shortly after, her mother died, as well. Lucia lives with her grandparents and they treat her like their own daughter. Her grandparents are dedicated to selling fruits and maintaining their small business.

Roots and Wings is only three minutes from her home, and Lucia is eager to attend computer classes every day! Thanks to your donation, Lucia is taught competitive skills that connect her to the world. Thank you to all of you for providing this great opportunity! A big thank you goes out to Maria and Drew for both donating two months of computer literacy training. Thank you so much!
