Cecilia will now enjoy a year of after-school tutoring!

Cecilia is 12 years old and lives with her mother Sac and father Mach in the village of Pasach in rural Guatemala. Cecelia dreams of becoming a lawyer, to provide humanitarian support and to counter the various social problems in the community where they live.

Her father works as a laborer on his own land and earns about $100 a month for his family. Her mother is dedicated to the affairs of the home. Cecilia lives about three minutes from the Education Center run by Roots and Wings.

Thanks to your combined generosity, Cecilia is able to receive a whole year of after-school tutoring. With extra support, Cecilia is given the tools to meet and excel her educational goals. Thank you for helping Cecilia’s dreams become closer to reality!
