Pascuala Juliana is taking computer classes

Pascuala-Juliana-Chox-Sac
Dear Stephan,

Pascuala lives in the the Solalá region of rural Guatemala with her mother, Elena, and her grandparents. She is an only child and her father left her and her mother soon after Pascuala was born. Though many women in her village only maintain the house and do not earn money, Elena does housework and maintains a business making and selling clothing. She earns only about $25 per month, which is not enough to provide for her family.

Pascuala is now nine years old and is in third grade. When she grows up, she wants to be a Physical Education teacher because she thinks that it is important to exercise and care for your body so that you can develop well.

Pascuala is now taking computer literacy classes at the Roots and Wings education center, which is only a two minute walk from her house. She is learning skills that will be very valuable to her in her lifetime. Thank you, Stephan, for giving Pascuala this opportunity!
